International Criminal Court

The International Criminal Court (ICC) committee in MUN simulates the global court prosecuting severe international crimes. Delegates act as legal professionals and individuals, applying international law to complex cases. This challenging committee requires understanding of the Rome Statute, legal analysis, and balancing justice with politics. It offers a unique, stimulating experience exploring international criminal law and global justice within a simulated court setting.

Thomas Sebahi

President

Hey there! My name is Thomas, and it is my upmost honor to be your ICC president for this year’s DAISMUN Fall. I am a junior and this would be my second year doing MUN. I believe that MUN is not just an educational activity, instead it is a transformative experience that inspires students to engage as global citizens. It not only promotes global awareness but also instills a profound sense of responsibility toward our world. I’ll be looking forward to working with all my ICC delegates!

Julius Chen

Backroom Head

Greetings, my name is Julius Chen and I will serve as your Crisis Backroom Head for the DAISMUN Fall 2024. This conference, I am very intrigued to work as a backroom head for the crisis committee, since my previous experiences with the special committee crisis illustrated the importance of this role. As a crisis backroom I must process directives and actively update and implement changes made on the historical Crisis. The Crisis of this conference, The Reunification of the Korean Peninsula is one that is both significant and profoundly complicated and at times, challenging. However, it is such force and strength of unification that this divided world will need to sustain its peace and human rights/dignity. I am looking forward to seeing you in our conference this year.
