The Secretariat Team is beyond excited to announce the 15th iteration of the Dalian American International School Model United Nations Conference would be held at the DAIS campus from March 14th to March 15th, 2025.
Our theme this year, Operation 2030: Gazing into Spring, emphasizes the urgent need to comply with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Agenda, adhere to the acceleration of technological development, and break through intensifying international relations and conflicts. Our society is now in the face of unfulfilled promises, vivid and prophetic dreams, and the sheer reality. Delegates are encouraged to reflect on the world’s past endeavors, evaluate the world’s progress in achieving its goals, and undertake action to meet those goals while adapting change.
Delegates will be tasked to combat a handful of issues old and new, from the historic Nuremberg Trials to navigating the fictional world of Bioethics, from combatting international criminal threats to crafting the world’s greatest sporting event and even exploring the hidden mysteries of the Backroom. Whatever challenge you might face, delegates, it is with great courage of conviction, commitment towards your cause, and a pure heart of passion, that will lead you towards achieving your agenda.
Each successive year, DAISMUN not only supports the development and skills-building of new delegates, but also provides veteran delegates with a great variety of Special Committees. We truly believe that innovation built upon tradition and promotion of creativity will allow delegates to thrive in their MUN journey, and in life.
Let us embrace the privilege bestowed upon us, let us embrace the powers of change to combat the uncertainties ahead, and let us hear your voice loud and clear. This is a world that we love, and this is a world that we must protect as the new generation.
