International Military Tribunal:
The Nuremberg Trials
As conflicts rise and widen in our modern world, it is sometimes essential to travel back in time, to view the past and learn from it. World War II, one of the largest catastrophe of humankind history, was settled with Nuremberg Trial, hosted by the International Military Tribunal. In this committee, we shall reexamine this piece of history. Surely, we know the Nazi is guilty. But to what extent should individuals under the Reich be punished? Who were being innocently used as a tool by the evil, and who were the manipulators behind all? Were the historical perspectives influencing how we perceive these individuals?
The indictment for this case is as below:
The United States of America, the French Republic, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics hereby accuses Crimes against Peace, War Crimes, and Crimes against Humanity, and of a Common Plan or Conspiracy to commit those Crimes, all as defined in the Charter of the Tribunal, and accordingly name as defendants in this cause and as indicted on the counts hereinafter set out: Hermann WilhelmGöring, Albert Speer, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Baldur Benedikt von Schirach.
